"Grand Derangement" Performance
From the shores of Nova Scotia, the seven musicians and step dancers comprising Grand Dérangement all hail from the St. Mary’s Bay region. Named after the French phrase for the Acadian expulsion, Grand Dérangement also refers to the absolute frenzy this band can drive an audience to with its energetic and infectious music. Cajun and Irish rhythms are fused with traditional Acadian music, rock and jazz to create a unique sound.

Plowing Match at Billings Farm & Museum
Watch as teamsters compete with their draft horses and and oxen in our 22nd annual competition. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. and the competition runs from 10:30 a.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m. Visitor plowing with our draft horses, horse-drawn wagon rides, programs with the Billings oxen Harv and Will, and rope making demonstrations.

Sheep Shearing Weekend at Billings Farm & Museum
Join us for the spring shearing of the Southdown flock, plus carding and spinning wool, planting the heirloom garden, historic games, and more. Admission includes our 23rd annual commemorative button and children's art show.

Wagon Ride Weekend at Billings Farm & Museum
Enjoy the gentle breezes and leafy green of early summer on our 30-minute, narrated horse-drawn wagon rides around the farm fields around the corn fields and along the Ottauquechee River; farm programs and activities.

Fourth of July Weekend at the Three Stallion Inn

Come enjoy our fabulous July 4th weekend traditions. Start with dinner at the Inn and a hay wagon ride to the Town of Randolph’s fireworks on the Inn property on Thursday, the 3rd of July. On Saturday, July 5th, enjoy the annual Vermont Symphony Orchestra’s “Made in Vermont” Concert with a picnic on the Inn’s back lawn, followed by the VSO’s wonderful Concert concluding with the 1812 Overture and gang buster fireworks.

- Thursday Night: Hay ride to the famous Randolph Fourth of July Fireworks display (weather permitting).
- Friday Night: Delicious dinner for two in Morgan’s Pub or Lippitt’s Restaurant.

A family celebration featuring the reading of the Declaration of Independence at noon, historic debates, making 1890 flags, Presidential silhouettes, and Uncle Sam bookmarks, spelling bee, ice cream and butter making, traditional hand-on activities, plus horse-drawn wagon rides.
